The consultation is free, but we do charge a $150 measure fee for our experts to take onsite measurements. The $150 fee will be credited towards your final kitchen cabinet purchase.
Typically, we’ll allow 1-1/2 – 2 hr design appointments, allowing sufficient time to design & draw your layout, based on initial measurements you provide. A 3D drawing will be generated for the cabinets. We then will discuss countertops, backsplash, cabinet hardware and flooring needs and provide you with an estimate for the materials selected.
Stock cabinet lines average 1-3wks depending on the line, while semi-custom lines take a bit longer.
- Stock cabinets: Stock cabinets are pre-manufactured & mass-produced, therefore ready to ship when ordered. They come in standard sizes, have limited door styles and color selections. They are typically the most affordable option.
- Semi-custom cabinets: Semi custom cabinets usually come with more color & door style options and embellishment details. Typically they come in standard sizes, with the option to change a few details, such as cabinet depth, drawer front style, and color. This option offers more flexibility in design and aesthetics, without breaking the bank. Semi-custom cabinetry provides the best of both worlds.
- Custom cabinets: Most custom cabinet lines are built to your specifications. While most start with ‘standard’ cabinet sizes, you can add-on your own details, features, colors or even build. With custom cabinets, you can truly make your kitchen one of a kind. Because of all of these customization options, custom cabinets are labor-intensive and therefore, expensive to make. Custom cabinets typically have longer lead times as well, averaging 6 weeks to 6 months to receive.
Unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate order pick-ups on most orders of (5) cabinets or more. Instead, we offer curbside delivery to most job sites within 50 miles of the store
Cabinets do not come with handles or knobs nor do they come drilled to accept them. We do offer Jeffrey Alexander Hardware as well as hardware templates, if needed.
While we rather schedule a final design appointment in the showroom to review the design together and discuss any questions or concerns worth mentioning, we realize schedules don’t always allow us to do that. In those instances, where an in-showroom appointment is not possible, we can provide final paperwork via email for your review and signature. Once the final paperwork has been returned to the designer, payment can be taken over the phone with a major credit card. Discuss with your salesperson credit cards accepted.
